Wow, I am listening to this discussion. Leave it to our government to:
1. Avoid the Public Option
2. Talk about the future insolvency of Medicare, when it was our own government who pilfered it in the first place.
3. Passes a bill that causes a net increase of insured Americans of ONLY 11%. Not everyone, not “freedom and justice (and healthcare) for all.
4. Potentially pass a bill that “pays for itself” and creates excess funds of more than $800Bn.
Only time will tell, but hey! That is all we have, it will take 3 years or more for this to even go into effect; and 10 years before they meet their goal of insuring 11% more of the population.
